Rajasthan rules for a Jaipur business
Jaipur is Rajasthan’s capital, and the state’s GST code is 08. GST registration follows the national online process on the GST portal.
Shops and commercial establishments are covered by the Rajasthan Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958. The Act is being amended: an Ordinance in 2025 was followed by an amendment Bill in 2026. We have not confirmed the final wording, so check the Labour Department’s current notice before relying on any threshold you read online.
Labour registrations are made on the Labour Department Management System (LDMS) at labour.rajasthan.gov.in, which you sign in to with an SSO Rajasthan ID.

If you sell crafts, textiles or jewellery online
Marketplaces treat handmade products like any others. Amazon asks for a barcode or a GTIN exemption for each product, along with accurate dimensions, materials and images that follow its rules. Some categories need approval before you can list, and we prepare that request with you where it applies.
We share each marketplace’s image requirements before you shoot, so photos taken in your workshop can be used as they are. Where a design comes in several colours or sizes, we set it up as one product with variants rather than scattered separate listings.
Websites for hotels and tour operators
If you run a hotel, guesthouse or travel business, your site has to answer a few questions quickly: where you are, what a room or tour includes, and how to reach you. We build fast pages around those answers, route enquiries to WhatsApp or email, and leave the content editable by your own staff.
Common questions
You are in Delhi — will you come to Jaipur to photograph our products?
No. We work remotely only. We send the image rules for each marketplace before you start, check your photos when they arrive, and point out any that a marketplace is likely to reject.
Does a Jaipur shop need to register with the Labour Department?
That depends on the Rajasthan Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958, which is in the process of amendment. Check the current position on the Labour Department’s LDMS portal, where registrations are made through SSO Rajasthan.
Can we sell on Amazon and Flipkart from Jaipur without GST?
For most goods, both marketplaces ask for a GSTIN; books are the common exception, where PAN can be enough. If you do not have one yet, we can prepare the GST application with you first.
Our hotel website was built years ago and is hard to update. Can you fix it remotely?
Usually, yes. We begin with a review of the site, hosting and domain, then either repair what is there or rebuild it, depending on which will give you less trouble over time. All of it is done online, with logins kept by you.
