Amazon seller registration & account setup (Amazon.in)
Help registering as a seller on Amazon.in — GST and document checks, Seller Central setup, shipping choice, first listings and Brand Registry guidance.
Registering on Amazon.in looks quick, but the details decide how smoothly you start selling: GST and bank details that match, the right pickup address, a sensible shipping method, and products listed in categories you are approved for. TrueOrbis sets up your seller account with you, explains each choice in plain language and gets your first products live.

How it works
Step 1: Readiness check
We check your GSTIN (or GST-exempt category), PAN, bank, pickup address and the categories you plan to sell in.
Step 2: Register on Seller Central
You sign in with your Amazon account and we complete business, store name, address and bank details together.
Step 3: Shipping and settings
We help you choose Easy Ship, Self-Ship or FBA and configure shipping, returns and tax settings.
Step 4: List and launch
Your first products are listed with correct titles, MRP, images and barcodes or exemptions, and the store goes live.

Common questions
Do I need GST registration to sell on Amazon.in?
Amazon asks for GST details if you list taxable goods. If you sell only GST-exempt categories, such as printed books, PAN details may be enough. Check your categories before registering — we can help with GST registration if you need it.
Is there a fee to register as a seller?
Amazon states that listing on Amazon.in is free. Fees are charged when you sell: a referral fee by category, a closing fee and, depending on the shipping method, weight-handling or fulfilment fees, with GST added.
What are the shipping options?
Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA), where Amazon stores, packs and delivers; Easy Ship, where you pack and Amazon picks up and delivers; and Self-Ship, where you deliver through your own staff or courier.
Have Amazon’s fees changed recently?
Yes. From 16 March 2026 Amazon.in charges zero referral fee on products under ₹1,000, and closing fees were revised from 7 September 2026. Always check the current fee schedule on sell.amazon.in.
What do I need for Brand Registry?
A brand name or logo permanently on your products or packaging, and a pending or registered trademark for it. Brand Registry itself is free.
