Flipkart seller registration & account setup

Help registering on Flipkart Seller Hub — GSTIN and document checks, account setup, fulfilment choice and your first product listings.

Flipkart’s seller registration needs only a few documents, but the account has to be set up carefully: a GSTIN that matches your business, a working pickup address, the right fulfilment model, and listings that pass quality checks. TrueOrbis registers your Flipkart seller account with you and gets your first products ready to sell.

Who it is for

Manufacturers, wholesalers, brands and new online sellers who want to sell on Flipkart.

Signs you might need this

  • You want to sell on Flipkart and need help with GSTIN, documents or setup
  • Your seller registration or listing has been rejected
  • You are deciding between Fulfilment by Flipkart and shipping yourself
  • You already sell on Amazon and want to add Flipkart

How TrueOrbis helps

  • Document and GSTIN check before registration
  • Seller Hub registration with you: business details, pickup address, bank and display name
  • Choosing Fulfilment by Flipkart (FBF) or your own fulfilment
  • First listings — matching to existing products or creating new ones
  • Walkthrough of the seller dashboard, orders and payments

How it works

  1. Step 1: Readiness check

We confirm your GSTIN (or PAN for books), bank account, pickup address and product categories.

  2. Step 2: Create the seller account

Registration on Flipkart Seller Hub with your mobile, email, GSTIN and bank details.

  3. Step 3: Fulfilment and settings

Choose FBF or your own fulfilment and set up pickup, dispatch and return settings.

  4. Step 4: List and launch

Match your products to existing listings or create new ones with complete details and images.

Common questions

Can I sell on Flipkart without GST?

Flipkart asks for a regular GSTIN for all categories except books, where PAN details are enough. If you do not have a GSTIN yet, we can help with GST registration.

What does Flipkart charge sellers?

A fixed fee per order that depends on your seller tier, and a category-based commission. Flipkart currently offers 0% commission on all products priced below ₹1,000, and across the Fashion category at any price. Shipping or FBF fees apply depending on fulfilment.

What is the difference between FBF and non-FBF?

With Fulfilment by Flipkart, Flipkart stores, packs and ships your products from its warehouses. With non-FBF, you store and pack, and a Flipkart agent picks up orders from your location.

How soon are sellers paid?

Flipkart says payments can be made within a few days, depending on your seller tier.
