Udyam and GST for Faridabad manufacturers
Udyam registration is national and works by self-declaration on the Ministry of MSME portal, which does not charge a fee. Classification looks at both investment in plant and machinery or equipment and annual turnover, and those figures are linked to your income-tax and GST records, so they need to be right.
A unit dispatching goods to customers outside Haryana — in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh or further away — is making inter-State supplies, and those normally require GST registration regardless of turnover. The application goes in on the GST portal; the officer decides it and may raise questions, which we help you answer.
Haryana’s shops law and other state points
Faridabad follows Haryana’s version of the 1958 shops law, now titled the Haryana Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958. The 2025 amending Act is treated as in force from 12 November 2025 and splits establishments by size: at 20 workers or more, you register online within a month of starting and the certificate lasts until you close; below 20, an online intimation is enough and you receive a Basic Information Performa ID.
If your premises is a factory rather than a shop or office, ask the Labour Department, Haryana which registration applies to you. The central labour codes in force since 21 November 2025 also provide for establishment registration. We explain where these sit, but the filing is yours.
Units planning a new plant or an expansion that needs several state clearances can apply through Invest Haryana’s HEPC single-window portal.
IT on the shop floor and in the office
Factory IT problems are often physical: a Wi-Fi signal that never reaches the stores, a cable run across a production hall, an office PC that quietly became the server years ago. These are the jobs where a site visit earns its keep, and we plan them to disturb production as little as possible.
- Network survey and redesign across office, production and stores
- Server, storage and backup set-up with a tested restore
- New PCs and accounts for supervisors, accounts and dispatch staff
- Units in Ballabgarh and the city’s industrial sectors visited by appointment
Starting work with us from Faridabad
- A call, or a visit to the unit, to list what is already in place
- A written proposal covering scope, visits and fees
- Work on site and online, with progress shared on WhatsApp or email
- Network diagrams, admin logins and registration records handed over in the company’s name
Common questions
Does our unit count as micro, small or medium?
That depends on both your investment in plant and machinery or equipment and your turnover, measured against the current Ministry of MSME limits. We look at your figures and confirm the classification before filing on the Udyam portal.
Can you fix Wi-Fi that does not reach our production area?
Yes. We survey the site, plan access points and cabling, and configure the network so the office and shop floor are kept apart where that makes sense. It is on-site work, booked by appointment.
Can you get us ISO 9001 certified?
We prepare you for it with a gap assessment, documentation and a readiness review, then coordinate with the accredited certification body you choose. Only that body can issue the certificate, after its own audit.
We have 12 workers. What does Haryana’s shops law ask of us?
Since the 2025 amendment, an establishment below 20 workers sends an online intimation within a month rather than applying for full registration. Confirm the current procedure with the Labour Department, Haryana; it is a filing you make yourself.
