On site in Delhi, remote when that is quicker
We visit Delhi offices, shops, clinics and warehouses by appointment when being there makes the work faster or safer: installing and configuring devices, fixing a network, checking a server cupboard, or sitting with you while documents are prepared.
Registrations, marketplace accounts and software work mostly happen online. Many Delhi clients prefer a first meeting in person and later check-ins on WhatsApp or video, and that works well.
- On-site visits: IT set-up and support, office networks, device rollouts, workshops
- Online: GST and Udyam filings, seller accounts, listings, websites, automation and cloud
- Either: discovery meetings, training and handover
What is specific to Delhi when you register a business
Delhi is treated as a State for GST. Every GSTIN issued here begins with the state code 07, and after approval a business is assigned to either the Delhi Government’s Department of Trade and Taxes or the Central GST administration. The application itself is the same online process used across India.
Shops, offices and other commercial establishments in Delhi fall under the Delhi Shops and Establishments Act, 1954, administered by the Labour Department of the Government of NCT of Delhi. Registration is made online on the Labour Department’s portal, and new companies can apply through the Agile-Pro form when they incorporate on the MCA SPICE+ system.
That Act is changing. The Delhi Shops and Establishments (Amendment) Act, 2026 limits the Act to establishments with 20 or more employees, from a date the Delhi Government notifies. Until that happens, the 1954 rules apply to establishments of every size, so check the Labour Department’s latest notice before deciding whether you need to register.
For businesses that need several approvals — premises, licences, industrial clearances — the Delhi Government’s Department of Industries runs the Delhi Udyog Mitra single-window portal.
Udyam registration is national: a Delhi business uses the same Ministry of MSME portal, classification limits and certificate as anywhere else in India.
Parts of Delhi we cover
Our base in Adarsh Nagar puts North and North West Delhi closest, but we work across the city — central business areas, South and West Delhi, East Delhi and the industrial areas — with visits planned by appointment. Neighbouring Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram and Faridabad are covered too.
How a Delhi engagement usually runs
- A short call or meeting to understand what you need and what you already have
- A written proposal with scope, timeline and fees before any work starts
- The work itself, on site where it helps and online for the rest
- Handover: logins, documents and notes kept in your name, with a contact for follow-up questions
Common questions
Can someone visit our office in Delhi?
Yes. On-site visits across Delhi are arranged by appointment for work that needs it, such as IT set-up, network problems or a working session on registrations. Visit terms are written into your proposal.
Is GST registration in Delhi different from other states?
The application is the same national online process. What is local is the state code (07) at the start of the GSTIN and whether the business is assigned to the Delhi Department of Trade and Taxes or the Central GST administration.
Does a small shop in Delhi still need Shops and Establishments registration?
Under the 1954 Act, registration applies whatever the size. The 2026 amendment will limit the Act to establishments with 20 or more employees once the Delhi Government notifies its start date, so check the Labour Department’s current notice. This registration is filed by the owner on the Labour Department portal; we can explain where it fits alongside GST and Udyam.
We are a shop in Delhi. Which registration comes first?
It depends on turnover and what you sell. Many small Delhi shops start with Udyam and add GST when they cross the turnover limit or start selling online. We can look at your situation and explain the order that makes sense.
